Eagles Continue Receiving Votes In AFCA D-II Coaches’ Poll

For the second week in a row, Ashland University's football team is receiving votes in the American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) Division II Coaches' Top 25 poll – the latest of which was released on Monday (Sept. 18) afternoon.
 
The Eagles (1-2 overall, 1-0 Great Midwest Athletic Conference) are coming off their first win of 2023, a 38-14 decision against Hillsdale on Saturday (Sept. 16) night at Jack Miller Stadium/Martinelli Field.
 
On defense through three games of the new campaign, the Eagles are tied for first in NCAA Division II with 14 sacks.
 
Ashland will go back on the road for its first league away game of 2023 on Saturday (Sept. 23) at 4 p.m. against Tiffin (3-0, 1-0) at Frost-Kalnow Stadium.
