Conference Tournament-Bound AU Men, Women Lose At Home To Oilers

In the 2022-23 regular-season finale for both teams on Saturday (April 15), Ashland University's men's and women's tennis teams lost to Findlay at the Deborah Liebert Karl Tennis Complex.
 
The Eagle men (8-11 overall, 2-5 Great Midwest Athletic Conference) lost 5-2 to the Oilers (11-9, 5-2), and the AU women (8-9, 3-5) lost 7-0 to Findlay (16-5, 7-1).
 
NOTABLES

• The singles wins for the Eagle men were earned by sophomore William Rassat at No. 1 (6-4, 6-3) and freshman Rodrigo Moura Ludgero at No. 3 (6-7 (5), 6-1, 15-13).
