- Adcock at No. 2 (7-6(2), 6-3) and Arancibia at No. 4 (6-4, 6-4) won singles matches for AU.
- For the Ashland men, freshman Rodrigo Moura Ludgero won 6-4, 7-5, at No. 3 singles.
QUOTABLES
- "I am very happy with both teams," said Tim Dunford, Ashland Director of Tennis Operations, "but I have to admit I've never been more proud of a team that I've ever coached than I was of our women today. Tiffin is undefeated in G-MAC play for a reason. We played incredibly well. It came down to the third set of the last match. We proved that we belong in the G-MAC Tournament. I'm so very excited about where this women's team has come in such a short period of time."
