Men’s, Women’s Tennis Fall At Home Vs. Cavaliers

On Sunday (March 19) night at the Aspen Racquet Club in Wooster, Ohio, Ashland University's tennis teams lost to Walsh in Great Midwest Athletic Conference matchups.
 
The Eagle men (5-6 overall, 0-1 Great Midwest) lost 5-2, and the AU women (5-5, 1-1) lost 6-1.
 
NOTABLES
  • In the men's match, Ashland took the doubles point by winning two of three matches – 6-3 by the No. 1 team of freshman Tomas Paskauskas and sophomore William Rassat, and 6-4 by the No. 2 team of freshman Rodrigo Moura Ludgero and sophomore Fabian Bussard.
  • The AU men's lone singles victory was earned by Rassat at No. 1 (6-1, 6-3).
  • Ashland's win on the women's side came from sophomore Claudia Adcock at No. 3 singles, 6-2, 2-6, 6-4.
