On Saturday (Feb. 11) in nearby Wooster, Ohio, Ashland University's men's and women's tennis teams lost their home matches to Fairmont State.
The Eagle men (2-2) lost 5-2 to the Fighting Falcons (1-0), and the AU women (3-1) fell in a 6-1 decision to Fairmont (3-0).
WHAT HAPPENED
- In the men's match, Ashland's points came from sophomore William Rassat at No. 1 singles (6-1, 7-6 (5)) and freshman Rodrigo Moura Ludgero at No. 4 singles (6-3, 4-6 (11-9)).
- The AU women's point came from sophomore Claudia Adcock at No. 4 singles (6-4, 6-1). Adcock and fellow sophomore Kortney Reed won at No. 3 doubles, 6-4.

Ashland's women will play on Sunday (Feb. 12) at 11 a.m. in Wooster against Western Illinois, while both teams will go back to Wooster on Feb. 18 at 4 p.m. to take on Lake Superior State.
