Eagle Swimmers, Divers Compete In Day 2 At Miami Invitational

On Day 2 of the Miami (Ohio) Invitational on Friday (Dec. 1), Ashland University's men's swimming team turned in a pair of ninth-place finishes.
 
In the men's 100-yard breaststroke, sophomore Nick Girz took ninth in 56.08 seconds, while the men's 800 freestyle relay quartet of junior Robin Falk, freshmen Evan Kemp and Colin Pham, and Girz finished ninth in 6:59.67.
 
Through the first two days of the invite, Ashland's men are in fifth place in the eight-team field, and AU's women are sixth of nine teams.
