AU Swimmers Open Up Competition At Miami Invitational

The first day of the Miami (Ohio) Invitational was contested on Thursday (Nov. 30), with Ashland University's swimming and diving teams beginning competition.
 
In the men's 200-yard freestyle relay, the quartet of freshman Colin Pham, freshman Evan Kemp, junior Robin Falk and sophomore Ayden Mason took 13th place in 1:27.28. The men's 400 medley relay of Pham, sophomore Nick Girz, Falk and sophomore Andrew Oates also placed 13th in 3:28.95.
 
In the team standings through one day, the AU men are fifth out of six teams, while the Eagle women are sixth out of seven teams.

The second day of the Miami Invitational, starting at 9 a.m. on Friday (Dec. 1).
