Eagle Football Accepts Invitation To Play In America’s Crossroads Bowl

The 2023 season for Ashland University's football team isn't over yet.

As announced by the Great Midwest Athletic Conference, Great Lakes Valley Conference and the South Shore Convention and Visitors Authority on Wednesday (Nov. 15) afternoon, the Eagles will take on McKendree in the America's Crossroads Bowl on Dec. 1 at 7 p.m. Eastern/6 p.m. Central at Hammond Central High School in Hammond, Ind.

Ashland finished the regular season at 8-3 overall and 8-1 in the Great Midwest, good for second place in the conference. The Eagles will take a seven-game winning streak into the bowl game – tied for the longest streak in the program since winning 11 straight in 2017.
