Eagle Women, Men Once Again Lauded For Academics By The CSCAA

For the second time in the 2021-22 academic year, both of Ashland University's swimming and diving teams have been named College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) Scholar All-America Teams.

As announced by the CSCAA on Monday (June 27) afternoon, the Eagle women's and men's swimming and diving teams are Scholar All-America squads for the spring of 2022, as they both were in the fall of 2021.

Scholar All-America teams for the spring of 2022 are determined by a team's grade-point average in that semester alone. For the AU men, that GPA was 3.59; for the Eagle women, 3.08.

CSCAA Executive Director Samantha Barany said, "Coach (Kyle) Walthall is one of the up-and-comers in our sport, and this is just another example."
