The Ashland University STUNT team opened its first full season of competition on Saturday (March 12) at NCAA Division I Kentucky, losing both ends of a doubleheader, 17-9 and 17-7.
Ashland (0-2) played in its first game last spring, and the Wildcats (2-4) are in their first season of competition this spring.
WHAT HAPPENED
- The Eagles' top scorers in the twinbill were sophomore flyer/tumbler Lily Boldman and sophomore tumbler/flyer/base Kaylee Reed with 33 points each, and freshman flyer/base/tumbler Alyssa McLaughlin with 32 points.
- Kentucky led throughout both games.
UP NEXT
Ashland will play host to its first home game in program history on March 19 at 11 a.m. against Ursuline at the Sherrill Hudson Court at Kates Gymnasium.
