- "Today was a great showing," said Ashland head coach Kyle Walthall. "Both squads threw down in relays, swimming very strong to move up several places. In diving, Osterfeld did very well, but Malberti did a great job recovering from a failed dive to a fantastic response. Filsinger swam lights out in the 400 IM, missing our school record by .16 seconds, with Hagan rounding out fourth in that event. Locke dropped five seconds in finals to come in second after a fantastic race. Things are looking great tomorrow, and we are excited for the third day of events."
