Garza, Morris Place At Findlay Open

Ashland University's No. 16-ranked wrestling team competed on Saturday (Nov. 19) at the Findlay Open.
 
WHAT HAPPENED

• Freshman Sevriano Garza was the Eagles' top placer on Saturday, taking fifth place and going 5-2 with a technical fall and a major decision at 165 pounds. At 197 pounds, sophomore Kaine Morris took sixth place and ended at 2-3.
• Other Eagles to finish better than .500 on Saturday were junior Nick Carbone at 157 pounds (3-2) and junior Corbin May at 174 pounds (3-2 with two pins and a major decision).
