Eagle Women Lose At Kenyon In Return To Pool

In its first action in more than two months, Ashland University's women's swimming and diving team lost at Kenyon on Friday (Jan. 14) night, 201-41.
 
WHAT HAPPENED

• The Eagles' top finish on Friday came from junior Veronica Eckroth in 1-meter diving (195.97 points).
• Taking third place were the 400-yard medley relay team of senior Sydney Kermath, junior Makayla Tarkenton, sophomore Sydney Porinchok and senior Cat Darnell (4:14.34); junior Sydney Laughlin in the 200 individual medley (2:16.32); and Eckroth in 3-meter diving (192.60 points).

Ashland's men and women will go to Hillsdale on Saturday (Jan. 15) at 1 p.m. for a tri-meet with Saginaw Valley State.
