No. 8 Eagles Drop Road Dual To No. 19 Pitt-Johnstown

On Friday (Dec. 10) night, the No. 8-ranked Ashland University wrestling team traveled to No. 19-ranked Pitt-Johnstown, and lost a 21-15 decision to the Mountain Cats.
 
The Eagles are 2-2 in duals this season, and UPJ is 3-0.
 
WHAT HAPPENED
  • Ashland grapplers earned three victories on the mat on Friday night. Senior 141-pounder Justin Wilcox topped Caleb Morris, 9-6; senior 184-pounder Aidan Pasiuk remained undefeated (9-0) after defeating William Small, 15-8; and sophomore 197-pounder Walker Uhl took a 4-3 overtime decision from Dakoda Rodger.
  • Freshman 125-pounder Nicholas Barber started the dual with a victory via forfeit.
 
UP NEXT
Ashland will close the first semester on Dec. 18-19 at the Midwest Classic in Indianapolis, Ind.
