Eagle Grapplers Compete At Ohio Intercollegiate Open

Ashland University's wrestlers competed on Sunday (Nov. 14) at the Ohio Intercollegiate Open in Tiffin.
 
WHAT HAPPENED

• One Eagle earned a victory in his bracket on Sunday – sophomore Cael Woods at 125 pounds. Woods went 4-0 in the White Division, earning three pins (in 48 seconds, 1:35 and 2:10) and a major decision. He is 8-2 in the early season, with six pins and two major decisions.
• Ashland's top placement in the Gold Division was junior Drew Wiechers at 165 pounds. Wiechers took fourth place, going 2-2.
• There were no team scores compiled.
