Ashland Drops Second Match Of Spring Break Trip

Ashland University women's tennis lost, 6-3, to Davis & Elkins on Tuesday (March 6), in the second of four matches that it will play in Hilton Head, S.C., during Spring Break.

Coming off of a 6-3 win over Bridgewater, junior Natalie Keron and senior Elizabeth Kidd were responsible for AU's lone doubles victory, beating a Senators duo, 8-0.

Keron and freshman Hazuki Ogino picked up singles wins for the Eagles. Keron beat a Davis & Elkins sophomore, 7-5 6-2, in the No. 4 spot. Ogino, at No. 3, also defeated a sophomore, 6-7, 6-4, 10-5. Neither Keron nor Ogino has lost either of their two singles matches this spring.

AU gets back on the court to finish its Hilton Head trip on Thursday (March 8) for matches against Albany and Albion.
