Box Score The AU women's basketball team lost to Toledo, 83-38 on Sunday (Nov. 3) in a preseason exhibition game. The game was played at Toledo.
Newcomer Suzy Wollenhaupt provided a good deal of the highlights for the Eagles. She hit 6-of-12 shots from the field on the way to 14 points. She also had 16 rebounds to lead all players in the game.
Guard Taylor Woods had 10 points. Another newcomer, Emma Hostetler, came off the bench to score six points and gather in three rebounds in 27 minutes.
A pair of UT forwards gave the Eagles fits all afternoon. Inma Zanoguera had 19 points, nine rebounds, five assists and four steals. Ana Capotosto had 16 points and 11 rebounds.
AU opens the regular season this coming Saturday (Nov. 9, 5:30 p.m.) against Cedarville at Kates Gymnasium.
