An impressive freshman season has allowed Ashland University forward
Jenna Slates to garner another postseason honor, as, on Thursday (March 12) morning, she earned a spot on the second team of the Midwest Region from the Division 2 Conference Commissioners Association (D2CCA).
Also the 2025-26 Great Midwest Athletic Conference Freshman of the Year and first-team all-conference, Slates started all 27 games this winter, averaging 16.1 points, 11.4 rebounds and 1.4 assists per game, while making 49.6 percent from the floor.
Ashland women's basketball finished 2025-26 at 14-13 overall and 10-10 in the Great Midwest.
