Biography

2013-14: Woods stepped into a bigger role for the Eagles as a junior, and her play resulted in postseason first-team all-Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference honors...was second on the team in points per game (15.9), and made 42.9 percent from the field, 41.0 percent from three-point range and 83.0 percent from the free-throw line...Woods finished sixth in the GLIAC in three-point percentage, seventh in points per game and ninth in free-throw percentage...also added 3.4 rebounds and 2.3 assists per contest...scored a career-high 34 points at Ferris State (Dec. 7)...earned a spot on the GLIAC Women's Basketball All-Academic Excellence Team.

2012-13: Woods started at guard all season, with the exception of four games she missed due to injury...was third in the GLIAC in assists per game (3.7), fourth in three-point field goal percentage (41.6), sixth in assist-turnover ratio (1.5) and 14th in scoring (12.3 ppg.)...was 12th in the nation in three-point field goal percentage (41.6)...named second-team all-conference...grabbed a career-high nine rebounds against Indianapolis at the NCAA Midwest Regional Tournament and had eight boards in an Elite Eight game against Gannon...scored 21 points in that Elite Eight matchup with Gannon...had five games of 21 or more points...scored a career-high 23 points at Hillsdale (Feb. 16, 2013)...played 40 minutes against Dowling in the NCAA title game and against Gannon at the Elite Eight...scored 20 points against Dowling, where she was 6-for-10 from the floor and 4-of-7 from three-point range...also had five rebounds against Dowling..was third on the team in scoring and had a team-high 74 triples...was second on the team in assists (130)...a finance major, Woods was named to the GLIAC All-Academic Team.

2011-12 - Until being sidelined due to a jaw injury, Woods was one of AU's major contributors...thrived in the role as the first player off the bench...appeared in 23 games, all off the bench...was fifth on the team in steals (25) and assists (42) and sixth in scoring (6.2)...reached double digits in scoring four times...scored a season-high 17 points at Wayne State (Jan. 26, 2012) and fired in 15 points at Lake Superior State (Jan. 21, 2012)...reached her season high of five rebounds four times...led the GLIAC in three-point field goal percentage (.451)...was also exceptional at the foul line, she went 34-of-38 (89.5) there.

High School: Named first-team All-Suburban League and was selected to the first team by the Tri-County Coaches Association...was named to the Medina Gazette all-star unit and also earned a spot on the third team all-district unit...as a junior, averaged 12.8 ppg., 2.7 rpg., 3.7 apg., and 3.1 spg., while shooting 57.3 percent from the field...as a junior, Woods played on a team that was 17-4...played on teams that won Suburban League and district titles...Wadsworth also reached the regional semifinals with Woods in the lineup.
