The Eagles began their day with a shutout of Lake Erie. That was a GLIAC match. Late in the afternoon, the Eagles blanked Clarion.
In between those two matches, Clarion picked up a 6-3 triumph over Lake Erie.
The sweep moves Ashland's record to 6-1. Clarion is 2-6 and Lake Erie is 0-7.
The Eagles dropped four games in winning the two matches.
On Tuesday (Sept. 28), the Eagles will attempt to resume a suspended match with Ohio Dominican. That match was started last Friday (Sept. 24).
