Biography

2013: The season-long starter at free safety, Tomko earned All-Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference honorable mention...recorded 38 total tackles (24 unassisted, 14 assists)...was tied for second on the team in interceptions with 3, and led the team with 68 interception return yards...returned a blocked punt 17 yards for a touchdown against Northern Michigan (Sept. 28)...also earned GLIAC Football All-Academic Team honors.

2012: The defensive back played in all 12 games...posted a season-high three tackles twice - at Tiffin (Nov. 3) and at Northern Michigan (Sept. 22)...named to the GLIAC All-Academic Team as a business management major.

2011: Tomko was redshirted.

High School: Tomko was a second team all-conference selection as a junior and senior…he was named all-district as a junior…in basketball, Tomko was first team all-conference as a junior…he had six interceptions, 95 tackles and 15 pass deflections while playing for the Bruins…Tomko was a two-year letterman in both football and basketball…as a senior, he played on a team that was a regional semifinalist.
