High School: Graduated as the Wooster area's all-time leading rusher, and was the first Ashland-area quarterback to both throw and rush for 1,500-plus yards in a season…Set school records for most rushing yards in a game and in a season…Led Loudonville to a regional-finalist finish in 2014…Played on a pair of Mid-Buckeye Conference-championship teams…Part of a Redbird team which is winningest Ashland County program over a three-year stretch, and which was the first in area history to play in the postseason three years in a row…Earned All-Ohio honors three times, was MBC Player of the Year twice and also earned Player of the Year honors from the Ashland Times-Gazette, Mansfield News Journal and in the Northeast Inland district.
