2011: Chappell did not appear in a varsity contest.

2010: Chappell saw action on the junior varsity unit.

2009: Chappell was redshirted.

High School: As a senior at University School Chappell caught 43 passes for 1,058 yards (24.6 ypc.) and 15 touchdown receptions…Chappell was named first team All-Ohio and was the team’s most valuable player…in track and field he was an all-state performer and a three-time team most valuable player…he won a silver medal in the 200 meters and was on the 4X200 relay that won a gold medal…Chappell was seventh in the long jump…he left University School owning school records in the 200, long jump, 4X200, 4X400 and 4X100….lettered four times in track and field and three times in football.

Personal: Chappell is the son of Tamara Chappell.
