Biography

2011: In his first year as a wide receiver, Capasso became the favorite target of quarterback Taylor Housewright...the multi-talented wideout received honorable mention All-GLIAC honors...Capasso led the team in receptions, receiving yards, receiving yards per game, touchdown receptions and yards per catch...in the final game of the season at Lake Erie (Nov. 12), he had 13 receptions for 205 yards. That reception total is one shy of the school record...Capasso had three games with 100 or more receiving yards...in addition to the outburst against Lake Erie, he caught four passes for 123 yards at Tiffin (Oct. 8) and grabbed seven passes for 101 yards at home against Ohio Dominican (Nov. 5)...Capasso was 11th in the GLIAC in receiving yards per game (67.3)...he snared a career-high 64-yard pass at Lake Erie that went for a touchdown.  Capasso had three TD receptions against the Storm, those TD receptions covered 64, 10 and 28 yards...Capasso had five games with five or more catches...rushed for a career-high 17 yards on three carries against Hillsdale (Sept. 17)...he returned five kickoffs for a season-high 116 yards against Hillsdale...his season-long 46-yard kickoff return came at Miller Stadium against Indianapolis (Sept. 10)...Capasso led the team in kickoff returns, kickoff return yards and kick return average...Capasso had a career-high 209 all-purpose yards against Hillsdale and had 205 at Lake Erie...Capasso was named to the GLIAC All-Academic Team as a physical education major.

2010: Capasso was a starter in the secondary and returned kickoffs and punts…he averaged 30.7 ypr., on seven kickoff returns…his longest return measured 82 yards and that went for a touchdown against Saginaw Valley State (Oct. 22)…he had four punt returns and averaged 9.0 ypr…Capasso was second on the team in pass breakups (five)…he posted a career-high seven tackles (six solo) at Wayne State (Oct. 16)…had six tackles against both Bloomsburg (Sept. 4) and Indianapolis (Sept. 11)...he was named to the GLIAC All-Academic Team as a physical education major.

High School: Capasso earned four letters in football and three in basketball in high school
