High School: Selected to the all-district first team in 2011 and 2012...special mention All-Ohio in 2011 and third team all-state selection in 2012...in 2012 missed three games due to injury but still had 643 receiving yards to go with eight touchdown catches...in 2011 had 869 receiving yards and a school-record 12 TD receptions...in basketball was second team all-conference in 2011 and in baseball, was a three-time all-league pick...lettered four times on the diamond, three times in football and twice in basketball.

Personal: Sommers is the son of Deanna Beale...is an exercise science major with a minor in psychology.
