Biography

2012: As a junior, Renner spent much of the year as the starting tight end...strong blocker who played a major role in the running game...named to the GLIAC All-Academic Team as a sport management major.

2011: Renner saw regular playing time at tight end...for the second consecutive year, was named to the GLIAC All-Academic Team.

2010:  Renner saw action in nine games…was named to the All-GLIAC Academic Team.

2009: Renner was redshirted.

High School:  At Southview High School Renner was first team all-league and all-district and special mention all-state (2007)…as a tight end, he was special mention All-Toledo Blade…in his career he caught 53 passes for 935 yards and eight touchdowns…as a senior he had 33 receptions for 503 yards and five touchdowns.  Playing defensive end, he had 70 tackles, eight tackles for loss, five interceptions and forced a pair of fumbles…played on teams that won conference championships and advanced to the postseason three times..his senior season he played on a team that was the regional runnerup…lettered three times in football and once in basketball.
