Vermillion was recognized as one of the GLIAC's top offensive linemen a year ago. He enters his senior season as the acknowledged leader on a talented offensive line. The senior is a 2013 Ohio College Football Preseason First Team pick and he is a 2013 Beyond Sports Network Second Team Preseason All-American. Vermillion is a 2013 USA College Football NCAA Division II Preseason All-American.

2012: Vermillion was Ashland's starter at left tackle...he was named to the All-GLIAC First Team and was a member of the Ohio College Football First Team.

2011: Vermillion started at left tackle all season...he was AU's most experienced starter.

2010: Vermillion received regular playing time on the line.

High School: Vermillion was tabbed first team All-Ohio as a senior…was a two-time, first team All-Central Buckeye Conference pick…was also a first team all-district selection…lettered three times apiece in football and track and field…in track and field he threw the shot and his best effort was 53-6…was named the track team’s top performer as a junior and senior.
