Biography

2013: Saunders was a collegiate starter for the first time, making 10 starts at defensive end...finished the season with 21 total tackles (four assists, 17 assists)...also recorded one sack and two tackles for loss...had season-high three total tackles in five of first six games of the campaign.

2012: Was part of the regular rotation along the defensive front...had two tackles apiece against Lake Erie (Sept. 29), Walsh (Oct. 13) and Malone (Oct. 20).

High School: Saunders was tabbed first team All-Ohio, first team all-county and first team all-conference as a senior...had 93 tackles and five sacks in his final season at Alliance...was also first team all-conference in track and field and wrestling...collected 10 letters - four each in football and track and field and two in wrestling.

Personal: Saunders is the son of Andrew and Evelyn McBride...is an accounting/Spanish major.
