2012: Combs developed into one of the top defensive playmakers in the conference...earned All-GLIAC honorable mention laurels...led the Eagles in sacks and tackles for loss...was sixth on the team in tackles...posted a career-high nine tackles (five solo) with a sack at Findlay (Oct. 27)...had seven tackles against both Lake Erie (Sept. 29) and fifth-ranked Wayne State (Sept. 7)...recorded 2.5 sacks in a home win over Lake Erie...had six games of five or more tackles.

2011: Combs was fourth on the team in tackles...he reached his season high of eight tackles twice - at home against Ohio Dominican (Nov. 5) and at Lake Erie (Nov. 12)...in the season opener at Bloomsburg (Sept. 1) Combs had six tackles (five solo) and a fumble recovery...Combs had six or more tackles in a game four times.

High School: As a senior, Combs was in on 101 tackles…named first team all-state and first team All-Metro Conference…was part of state championship teams in football and track and field…the football team was undefeated for two consecutive seasons…lettered three times in football and twice in track and field.

Personal: The linebacker is the son of Richelle Boyd and Domonic Combs.
