2011: Houska was part of the regular rotation of defensive linemen...he recorded a career-high five tackles (one solo) in a 6-3 triumph at Northwood (Oct. 1)...Houska had four tackles (three solo) and a sack against Ohio Dominican (Nov. 5).

2010: The talented lineman had a strong season…he tied for fourth on the team in tackles for loss…Houska had a season-best four tackles (three solo) against Lake Erie (Nov. 13)…he also had two tackles for loss (eight yards) against the Storm…he was in on three tackles with two tackles for loss (11 yards) at Indianapolis (Sept. 11)…he had three tackles and a sack against Tiffin (Oct. 9).

2009: Houska saw action off the bench…he saw his playing time increase in the last part of the season.

High School: At Highland High School, Houska was named first team All-Ohio and was the Northeast Ohio defensive player of the year…he was honorable mention all-state as a sophomore and junior…his senior year he played on a football team that won the conference championship and was the regional runner-up…in wrestling, he went 46-0 his senior year and was the state champion at 215 pounds…he was the state runner-up at the weight class his junior year…Houska was a four-year letterman in both sports – football and wrestling.

Personal: Houska's parents are Mike and Brenda Houska...Houska is also a member of the AU wrestling team and is a contender for the starting job at 285 pounds this season.
