Starting a four-match Great Midwest Athletic Conference homestand, Ashland University's volleyball team topped Ursuline, 3-0 (25-11, 25-13, 25-18) on Saturday (Sept. 26) afternoon at the Sherrill Hudson Court at Kates Gymnasium.
 
Now 9-1 in their last 10 outings, the Eagles improve to 12-2 overall and 7-0 in the Great Midwest. Ashland now has nine 3-0 victories so far in 2026, one more than in all of 2025.
 
The Arrows are 2-15, 0-6.
 
On Saturday, the Eagles hit a season-best .438 – with the top hitters being freshman middle blocker Kamryn Heldreth (.727, nine kills), junior outside hitter Samantha Young (.615, eight kills) and junior middle blocker Livi Miller (.579, 12 kills).
 
Senior setters Marin Dixon (19) and Kylee Urban (13) combined for 32 assists, while senior libero Abbey Queen's team-best dozen digs move her into sixth place on AU's all-time list with 1,338.
 
Ashland is 8-0 all-time vs. Ursuline.
 
The Eagles will remain at home to take on conference foe Lake Erie at 6 p.m. on Tuesday (Sept. 29). Ashland topped the Storm, 3-0, on the road on Friday (Sept. 25).
