The Ashland University tennis team's were unable to get past the Hillsdale College Chargers and Northwood University Timberwolves.
On Friday, April 3, the Eagles played host to the Chargers, with the men's team actually kept things close, falling 4-3, while the women's team fell, 5-2. Both matchups showed major improvements for both sides, with
Anna Corbel and
Evalienna Pryor snagging individual wins for the women, and
Tomas Paskauskas,
Jonathan Frost and
Eduardo Lima winning individually for the men.
The following day, on Saturday the 4th, the Eagles took on the Timberwolves. The men were unable to secure a match, falling 5-0, while the women did the same, falling 4-0.
As Ashland turns the page and looks to what is ahead, they'll begin preparing for the Cedarville Yellow Jackets on Saturday, April 11, from the Deborah Liebert Karl Tennis Complex. The men will begin action at noon, with both the men and women playing.
