In the 2026 Great Midwest Athletic Conference Men's Tennis Coaches Preseason Poll, released on Tuesday (Feb. 3) afternoon, Ashland University was picked to finish seventh in the nine-team circuit.
The Eagles received 30 total voting points. Tiffin is the conference preseason favorite with five first-place votes and 70 voting points, with Northwood second (four first-place votes, 67 voting points) and Findlay third (57 voting points).
Ashland is 2-3 so far in 2025-26. The Eagles will play an exhibition match on Saturday (Feb. 7) at 2 p.m. at Duquesne, then resume the regular season on Feb. 13 at 5 p.m. vs. Fairmont State in nearby Lexington, Ohio.
