Men’s Tennis Starts Fall With Matches At Hillsdale Summer Invite

The Ashland University men's tennis team started the fall non-championship portion of 2026-27 on Saturday and Sunday (Sept. 12-13) at the Hillsdale Summer Invitational.

• Junior Terrell Arejola, following a first-round bye, finished 2-1. Arejola won the consolation final vs. Hillsdale's Jack Ford, 6-4, 6-2.
• In the A singles bracket, sophomore Nolan Guerin finished 1-1, losing in the semifinals, while sophomore Eduardo Lima was 0-2.
• The B singles bracket saw senior Kaj Salzano sport a 1-2 record, losing in the consolation finals, and senior Ryohei Miyake finish at 0-2.
• Senior Doug Cree was 1-1 in the D singles bracket following a bye.
• Ashland's two A doubles bracket teams of Cree/Lima and Salzano/Guerin each went 1-1 over the weekend.
• In the B doubles bracket, Miyake/Arejola finished at 1-1.

Ashland's men will continue the fall slate with a dual at Fairmont State on Sept. 20.
