Women’s Lacrosse Doesn’t Give In During Home Loss To No. 2 Indy

The Ashland University women's lacrosse team played host to No. 2-ranked Indianapolis on Saturday (Feb. 28) night, losing 17-7 in a hard-fought contest at Ferguson Field.
 
After playing three of their first four games at home, the Eagles are 2-2 in 2026. The Greyhounds are 3-1.
 
Senior goalkeeper Annie Duncan made 16 saves on Saturday night, as she faced 40 shots.
 
Indy forced 25 Eagle turnovers.
 
Leading Ashland's offense was freshman attacker Gianna Edgerly, who posted two goals and an assist for three points.

Ashland will begin a two-game western swing on March 8 at 2 p.m. Eastern/1 p.m. Central at Quincy.
