Continuing a win-loss-win back and forth to begin the 2026 season, Ashland University's women's lacrosse team improved to 3-2 on Sunday (March 8) afternoon following a 18-10 victory at Quincy (3-3).
The Eagles now are 3-0 all-time against the Hawks.
A common theme going back to last season, Ashland featured a balanced scoring attack – led by hat tricks from senior attacker
Rachel Crumbacher and senior midfielder
Ashley Fisher. Both Crumbacher and junior midfielder
Ashley Drexler finished with a team-high four points.
In all, 18 Eagle goals were scored by 11 different players, and 26 points came from 13 different players.
Senior goalkeeper
Annie Duncan (3-2) played the first three quarters and made six saves.
A competitive game statistically saw Ashland out-shoot Quincy, 29-24, and the Eagles turn the ball over 16 times to the Hawks' 17 giveaways.
COMING UP
Ashland will play on Tuesday (March 10) at 1 p.m. Eastern at No. 4-ranked Maryville (5-0).
