Eagle Women Seek League Tourney Spot, Home Quarterfinal In Last Regular-Season Week

Ashland University's women's basketball team will finish the 2025-26 regular season with two key Great Midwest Athletic Conference games - one at the Sherrill Hudson Court at Kates Gymnasium, and one on the road. The Eagles will play host to Walsh on Thursday (Feb. 26) at 5:30 p.m., then go to Findlay on Saturday (Feb. 28) at 1 p.m.

The Eagles are one game out of the fourth and final home quarterfinal spot for the 2026 Great Midwest Tournament on March 3, but also need a win or an Ohio Dominican loss in the final week of the regular year to clinch a spot in the tourney. Ashland is two games ahead of the ninth-place Panthers.

Thursday's home game also is Military and First Responder Appreciation Night and a Morgan's Message game. More details are in the press release HERE.
