Now with five top-seven individuals/relays in NCAA Division II, Ashland University's women's indoor track and field team has again moved up the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) D-II Indoor Track & Field National Rating Index – now at No. 8.
This is the AU women's best slot in the National Rating Index since being seventh in Week 7 of 2025.
With a team score of 92.31 points, the Eagle women are getting most of those from:
- Junior Molly Winner, weight throw, No. 1 in D-II – 21.45 meters/70-feet-4½ – 25.05 points
- Junior Leslie Pollock, weight throw, No. 2 in D-II – 20.29 meters/66-feet-6¾ – 20.76 points
- Winner, shot put, No. 4 in D-II – 16.02 meters/52-feet-6¾ – 15.73 points
- Senior Jade Avance, 800-meter run, No. 4 in D-II – 2:07.64 – 15.52 points
- The distance medley relay of senior Hope Sievert, sophomore Olivia Saylor, Avance and senior Emilie Lemon, No. 7 in D-II – 11:43.46 – 9.39 points
Most of Ashland's women and men will compete on Saturday (Feb. 14) at the SPIRE College Indoor Games, while select student-athletes will go to the Grand Valley State Big Meets on Friday (Feb. 13) and Saturday.
