After a 3-0 stretch coming out of the NCAA Division II "dead period," including back-to-back one-point home wins in Great Midwest Athletic Conference contests, Ashland University's men's basketball team will play another league game on Thursday (Jan. 8) at 7:30 p.m. at Lake Erie.
Ashland defeated Ohio Dominican (70-69) and Findlay (105-104, double overtime) in back-to-back games at the Sherrill Hudson Court at Kates Gymnasium. The last time the Eagles won consecutive home games by a single point was Jan. 5 and 12, 1946 - 43-42 over Mount Union and 50-49 over Muskingum.
