In a contest between early-season Great Midwest Athletic Conference division leaders on Saturday (Sept. 27) afternoon, Ashland University's volleyball team lost 3-0 (25-7, 25-21, 25-19) at No. 23-ranked Findlay.

The Eagles, the East Division leader coming in, saw their five-match winning streak snapped, and are 9-3 overall and 4-1 in the Great Midwest. The Oilers, the pacesetter in the North Division, move to 9-1, 3-0, and have won seven matches in a row.

- Junior setter Marin Dixon finished with 21 assists, and junior libero Abbey Queen led the defense with 14 digs.
- All five lead changes, and 11 of 13 tie scores, came in the third set.
