In a Great Midwest Athletic Conference match which featured 28 tie scores and 14 lead changes, Ashland University's volleyball team extended its winning streak to five matches following a 3-2 (25-19, 25-22, 24-26, 19-25, 15-12) win at Tiffin on Friday (Sept. 26) night.

The Eagles continue to pace the Great Midwest's East Division, and are 9-2 overall and 4-0 in the conference. The Dragons are 2-7, 0-3.

In the process of earning the victory, its second 3-2 win of 2025, Ashland saw a few of career-best performances. Sophomore outside hitter
Sara Krizsa recorded a career-high and match-high 21 kills, to go with a .450 hitting percentage, and junior setter
Marin Dixon picked up a career-best 54 assists and 14 digs.

While the Eagles collectively ended with a season-best .333 hitting percentage, the defense kept the Dragons to a .148 percentage in sets No. 4 and 5, after Tiffin hit .314 through the first three sets.

THE COLLECTIVE AU EFFORT
- Joining Krizsa in double-digit kills were freshman outside hitter Jenna Shedden (15), junior middle hitter Ravin Morgan (12, .385 hitting percentage), and sophomore middle hitter Livi Miller (10, .471 hitting percentage).
- In addition to Dixon, junior libero Abbey Queen had 14 digs, and sophomore outside hitter Samantha Young finished with 10.
