A season of firsts for Ashland University's women's lacrosse team continued on Wednesday (May 14) afternoon, as junior attacker

Tori Wanat each landed on the 2025 Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) All-Midwest Region second team – the Eagles' first such honors in program history.
Fisher, the 2025 Great Midwest Athletic Conference Attacker of the Year, tied the program mark for goals (63), and set new marks for assists (53) and points (116) this spring. She added 25 ground balls and 11 caused turnovers.
Wanat, the 2025 Great Midwest Freshman of the Year and Midfielder of the Year, also scored a program-record-tying 63 goals, and added 18 assists for 81 points. Her 136 draw controls are a new program single-season standard, and she added 48 ground balls and 20 caused turnovers.
Ashland women's lacrosse's 2025 season featured a 14-6 overall record (most wins in a season in program history), Great Midwest regular-season and tournament championships (firsts for both for the program), and the team's first-ever berth in the NCAA Division II playoffs.
