The Great Midwest Athletic Conference announced its 2025 softball awards on Wednesday (April 30) afternoon, and three Ashland University players have landed spots on the all-league teams.
- Junior second baseman Danielle Robbins is a Great Midwest first-teamer – her third all-conference honor in three years. During the regular season, Robbins hit .338 with 34 runs scored, three doubles, nine RBIs and 25 stolen bases. She also became the program's all-time stolen bases leader during the spring, now with 66 in her career.
- Senior designated player/pitcher Cassidy Shaffer also is a first-team all-league selection, and honored by the conference for a third year consecutively. Shaffer is hitting .378 with 18 runs scored, four doubles, a home run, and a team-high 38 RBIs, and is 6-1 with a 2.66 earned-run average as a pitcher.
- Sophomore catcher Delaney Keith (second team) is an all-league pick for the first time, following a regular season in which she led the team with a .392 average, to go with 12 runs scored, eight doubles, a home run and 24 RBIs.
Ashland (23-21) opened 2025 Great Midwest Tournament play in Akron, Ohio, on Wednesday at 2:50 p.m. vs. Findlay (32-12).
