Women’s Lacrosse Loses At Home To No. 6-Ranked Saints

On Monday (March 31) afternoon at Ferguson Field, Ashland University's women's lacrosse team lost to No. 6-ranked Maryville, 21-9.
 
The Eagles saw their four-game winning streak snapped, and are 7-5 following the last regular-season non-conference game of 2025. The Saints are 9-1 after their ninth consecutive decision.

  • Junior attacker Rachel Crumbacher paced the Eagle offense with five points on a goal and four assists. Freshman attacker Tori Wanat scored a hat trick on Monday.
  • Maryville out-shot AU by a 36-17 count.
UP NEXT
Back into Great Midwest Athletic Conference play on Saturday (April 5) at 2 p.m. at Tiffin (7-3). Both the Eagles and Dragons are in a three-way tie with Walsh for first in the conference at 3-0.
