Starting off its annual Florida Spring Break trip, the No. 21-ranked Ashland University baseball team lost 8-0 at No. 1 Tampa on Friday (Feb. 28) night.

The Spartans (11-2) put up a three-spot in the bottom of the first inning, then added two more runs in the bottom of the second. Tampa then added single runs in the bottom of the fifth, sixth and eighth innings.
