The 2025 Great Midwest Athletic Conference men's tennis preseason coaches poll was released on Wednesday (Feb. 12) afternoon, with Ashland University's squad picked to finish in sixth place among the nine-team field.
Ashland received 41 voting points. Tiffin is the preseason favorite with six first-place votes and 71 voting points, and Findlay is second with three first-place votes and 68 voting points.
In 2023-24, the AU men finished at 13-6 overall and 3-5 in the Great Midwest, qualifying for the conference Tournament.
The Eagles, led by second-year head coach
Eric Gibson, went 2-1 in the fall. Ashland will open the spring schedule on Saturday (Feb. 15) at 1:30 p.m. vs. John Carroll in nearby Wooster, Ohio.
