On Thursday (Dec. 18) afternoon, United Soccer Coaches (USC) announced both women's soccer Scholar All-Region and Scholar All-American honorees, lauding two Eagles for their tremendous academic accomplishments in the classroom. Senior forward
Dani Hicks and senior midfielder
Emily Pate join the list of honorees for USC Scholar All-North/Central Region.
Pate finished her senior season with six goals and four assists for 16 points. She also earned
College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District honors this postseason with a 3.98 cumulative GPA as an Accounting major.
For Hicks, she was also named to the USC Scholar All-American list following her recent inclusion to the CSC Academic All-American roster. She led the Eagles' scoring on the field this season with 15 goals and nine assists for 39 points. Her dedication expanded beyond the soccer pitch, achieving a 3.939 cumulative GPA as an Exercise Science major.
Both Hicks and Pate continue a tradition of athletic and academic excellence in women's soccer, named both to academic honoree lists as well as All-Conference rosters for their tremendous efforts throughout the 2025 season.
Ashland University women's soccer won the Great Midwest Athletice Conference regular-season title with a 10-0-4 conference record (14-3-5 overall) and also brought home a second-consecutive tournament title.
