As announced by the College Sports Communicators (CSC) on Tuesday (Nov. 25) afternoon, 10 Ashland University women's and men's soccer players have earned spots on the 2025 NCAA Division II Academic All-District teams.
- Senior defender Kali Funk had a 3.934 cumulative grade-point average through the 2025 spring semester as an Exercise Science major. She played in all 20 games as a reserve, recording an assist, this fall.
- Senior forward Dani Hicks sports a 3.939 cumulative GPA as an Exercise Science major. The 2025 Great Midwest Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Year and Tournament MVP, she recorded 15 goals, nine assists and 39 points this season.
- Senior defender Natalie Miskerik is an Exercise Science major with a 3.671 cumulative GPA. She started all 22 games this past season, and dished out two assists.
- Senior midfielder Emily Pate has a 3.980 cumulative GPA as an Accounting major. A first-team all-conference selection, she ended the 2025 season with six goals and four assists for 16 points.
- Junior defender Clara Richardson is an Exercise Science major with a 3.811 cumulative GPA. A second-team all-league pick, she started and played in 21 games in 2025, picking up two assists.
- Sophomore defender Hugo Dunger has a 3.507 cumulative GPA, and was an undecided major through spring 2025. This fall, he started and played in 15 games, recording an assist.
- Sophomore midfielder Lewis Hill is a Finance major with a 3.501 cumulative GPA. In 17 games (15 starts) in 2025, he picked up a goal and an assist.
- Sophomore midfielder Marley Marshall has a 3.511 cumulative GPA as a Nursing major. He played in 17 games, starting 12, this past fall.
- Junior midfielder Sergio Ruiz is a Business Management major with a 3.873 cumulative GPA. He posted two goals and an assist for five points over 17 games (three starts) this season.
- Senior midfielder Riki Soto has a 3.593 cumulative GPA as an International Political Studies major. He had a goal and an assist for three points in starting all 17 games in 2025.
The 2025 CSC Division II Academic All-America soccer teams will be released on Dec. 16 (men) and Dec. 17 (women).
Eagle women's soccer was 14-3-5 overall and 10-0-4 in the Great Midwest in 2025, winning both the conference's regular-season and tournament titles, and was victorious in the first round of the NCAA postseason.
Ashland men's soccer ended the 2025 season at 4-9-4 overall and 3-8-3 in the Great Midwest.
