Eagle Wrestlers 21st In D-II, Seven Grapplers Nationally Ranked

In the first regular-season National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) NCAA Division II rankings of 2025-26, released on Thursday (Nov. 20) afternoon, Ashland University is tied for 21^st in the country, and boasts seven nationally-ranked athletes:

• Junior Hayden Kuhn (5-1), sixth at 149 pounds.
• Senior Nate Barrett (0-1), ninth at 165 pounds.
• Senior Sevriano Garza (6-0), 10^th at 174 pounds.
• Redshirt freshman Fletcher Rose (10-2), 10^th at 184 pounds.
• Junior Luke Acuna (5-1), 11^th at 125 pounds.
• Sophomore Lance Overmyer (0-0), 14^th at 157 pounds.
• Junior Peyton Lemon (6-0), 15^th at 197 pounds.

The Eagles will go to No. 8 Pitt-Johnstown at 7 p.m. on Friday (Nov. 21).
