Trailing 19-8, the No. 16-ranked Ashland University wrestling team rallied to win each of the last four weight classes en route to a 21-19 win over No. RV Indianapolis at Ohio University on Saturday (Nov. 8) night.

Sevriano Garza, ranked No. 12 in NCAA Division II, began the rally with a 10-6 win over Shane Bates at 174 pounds. Redshirt freshman 184-pounder
Fletcher Rose then topped Christian Chavez, 4-1, to cut the AU deficit to 19-14.

Peyton Lemon, 14
th-ranked in D-II, defeated Ethan Farnell by major decision, 18-7 – which once again set up senior No. 9-ranked 285-pounder
Wyatt Bailey, who has made a habit of clinching team wins at the end in recent years, and earned an 11-6 decision over No. 5-ranked Cale Gray to complete the comeback on Saturday.

Ashland also received victories from junior 125-pounder
Luke Acuna, the No. 10-ranked grappler in D-II at his weight who won 12-9 over Jadon Gyan, and junior
Hayden Kuhn, ranked No. 7 in the nation, who earned an 18-3 technical fall over Gavin Garcia.
